AN APPEAL TOWARDS HER EMPOWERMENT
The goal and vision of our organization, Shelter for Her Empowerment (SHE), is socio-economic empowerment for women, children & senior citizens. It is derived from the concept of the Cultural Paradigm of Development that lays stress on Self–reliance, Legal rights, Education, Skills, Technology, Political, Participation, Identity, Sustainability and asset base. Shelter for Her Empowerment detects that awareness is power. The very name of our society refers that it is for the strength and power of women. Therefore, our society aims to educate the women and instill knowledge in to them.
Under privileged Women & Children will benefit immensely from the donation provided. In 11 years of our operation we have educated and empowered total of 300 beneficiaries. Apart from our non formal education program, soft skill including ICT development program and participatory empowerment program, We use theater as a tool and continuously perform street as well as stage theaters. Our all theaters are based on women and society laws.
Theatrical interventions are for prevention of child marriage, female foeticide, dowry, property rights and gender discrimination.
RETURN/ REFUND POLICY:
The organization takes the responsibility to process donations as per the instructions given by our donors, online and offline. However, in case of an unlikely event of an erroneous donation or if the donor would like to apply for a refund, the organization will respond to the donor within 15 working days of receiving a valid request for refund from the donor. The timely refund of the donation will depend upon the type of credit card/banking instrument used during the transaction. The donor will have to send a mail to the organization requesting refund within 2 working days of making the donation, along with payment receipt and person details necessary for initiating refund.
Shelter for Her Empowerment (SHE) is not obliged to make refunds and may, in its discretion, decline any requests for refund of donations, particularly if a tax exemption certificate has been issued.
